HundrED 2019 - 2023

HundrED has selected Eco-Schools three years in a row as part of 100 inspiring innovations that are changing the face of K12 education today.

In 2022 & 2023, Eco-Schools was selected to be part of the HundrED Hall of Fame, a category giving special recognition to education innovations that have demonstrated sustained growth of impact and scalability. Czech SDGs Awards

Eco-Schools Czech republic won the first place in the 5th edition of the Czech SDGs Awards, for the category "Education". The Association of Social Responsibility awards the best projects for fulfilling the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Czech Republic.

Czech Eco-Schools spent some words on the victory:

“We are obviously very proud because this year the category was again packed with good projects and companies focused also on other educational issues than environment and climate change. We take it as a confirmation of our broader impact and even bigger possibilities that lay ahead of us, like a real system change in Czech education”.

Gold Environment Protector Award

Eco-Schools is implemented in Cyprus by the Cyprus Marine Environment Protection Association (CYMEPA).

On 22 January 2019, CYMEPA was awarded with the Gold Environment Protector Award, awarded to the organisation which manages environmental issues as an integral part of its operational policy, by establishing practices and actions that preserve the natural environment. In addition, the awarded organisation reduces the consumption of natural resources through the adoption of appropriate best techniques, thus contributing to sustainable development. It also undertakes actions for the environmental upgrading of its premises and in the context of social responsibility it strengthens in various ways the local environmental agents (KYKPEE).

Thought Leadership Award

The Eco-Schools programme in South Africa run by WESSA Eco-Schools Programme is the recipient of the Community Chest Impumelelo Social Innovations Award as Thought Leader in Environmental Sector.
